Does anyone else besides me find it odd and slightly creepy that you can poke yourself in Facebook?
I still don't see what the big fuss is about this whole Facebook thing...

I find all the junk pointless, but I like the ability to keep loose tabs on friends and associates is kinda nice.
For a lot of people it trumps email, because spammers haven't figured out how to get access to the message system.
It's handy, it's convenient, it's novel.
And if one more person comes up to the desk and asks me a stupid, self-explanitory question or asks me for direction I am going to poke them into their graves. Sorry, I am sick of my job.
Let us not forget the Hoy House Group.

yup - it's like communication-lite. I can see what all my friends are up to faarrr away - makes me feel connected. Especially the pics - very nice, but not something I'd want throttling my in-box.
You can poke yourself in real life too, though I wouldn't recommend it.
I signed up last week at the insistence of another blogger. It was a nice reminder that I don't really know anybody.
