Know what I think is a great idea?
After licking a lot of envelopes for mailing I think flavoured envelope glue would be a freakin fantastic idea. I could really have gone for a box of cheese, bacon or pickle flavoured envelopes today. You could even get all gourmet if'n you wanted. And I want. (I'm thinking roast lamb with mango chutney for sure)
Because quite frankly, the regular glue is just awful.
It'd make the world a better place, I just know it...
Anyone want to give me a squillion dollars to do it?
Please?

Two things:
Too late. But just barely.

Mint flavouring for glue has been around for quite a while.
Second, there are these things called sponges. If you get them damp, you can use them to seal envelopes without worrying about the taste, OR the nasty paper cut to the tongue.

See - ice cream flavoured stamps. THAT's what I"m talking about!
And yes I *know* I can use sponges...but we don't have one...
Moose, squirrel, octopus or prawn flavoured envelope glue. But maybe horse is a better bet?
I am thinking of the Seibfeld episode where George buy cheap envelopes for his wedding invitations and Susan dies while licking them.
