The only thing more annoying than being in at work to do "critical" things when you don't feel well is to do the prior said things in a building with a broken intercom notification system.

Are you counting them in units of 'Bing'?
You could make a game out of it, every time it BINGs, you have to finish the phrase (e.g., BING "cherry" or BING "Crosby")
