It's handy, it's convenient, it's novel. And if one more person comes up to the desk and asks me a stupid, self-explanitory question or asks me for direction I am going to poke them into their graves. Sorry, I am sick of my job.
yup - it's like communication-lite. I can see what all my friends are up to faarrr away - makes me feel connected. Especially the pics - very nice, but not something I'd want throttling my in-box.

I find all the junk pointless, but I like the ability to keep loose tabs on friends and associates is kinda nice.
For a lot of people it trumps email, because spammers haven't figured out how to get access to the message system.

You can poke yourself in real life too, though I wouldn't recommend it.
I signed up last week at the insistence of another blogger. It was a nice reminder that I don't really know anybody.
