Immunity is impossible
"Common colds are most often caused by infection by one of the more than 100 serotypes of rhinovirus, a type of picornavirus. Other viruses causing colds are coronavirus, human parainfluenza viruses, human respiratory syncytial virus, adenoviruses, enteroviruses, or metapneumovirus. Due to the many different types of viruses, it is not possible to gain complete immunity to the common cold."

So, being of the scientific ilk, have you done a culture to determine the strain of your disease?
Hope you feel better soon, regardless of which virus is causing it!
Air tight bunkers give 100% immunity to any and all germs present outside the bunker. At least, in my experience.
It is entirely possible, thought not very likely that one could gain complete immunity.
But then what would one do with all those TheraFlu's and what excuse would one have for lounging about in one's pj's and fuzzy slippers?
Feel better soon!
If I understand my immunity biology, you can rest comfortably knowing that you'll never have this particular strain of virus again.
That'll learn ya to cuddle up to a rhino! Interspecies infections.
