Wish I could say winter here was not like this, but I found an old picture...and yes. Winter in Saskatchewan? She is a harsh mistress...
*sigh*The apocalypse has come. Luckily I'll be frozen solid so the pain will be minimal...

I'm the British Columbian... shouldn't it be me complaining about the cold? Buck up little camper.
Sorry - I have to say I beg to differ. BOrn and raised here - doesn't mean I have to like it. I can endure it, but for me, after months and months and months of cold, March is the month it ends. Period. Then I go back to sanity. We shouldn't be setting all time weather records for cold...
You must understand...I'm cold all the time as it is. Add this in and I grind my teeth and get back cramps from shivering. Usually we get 1-2 weeks of this severe cold and it's back ~-20. That I can handle. It's this go outside and you might die weather that I take issue iwth.
I'm just done with it all. Don't know why it's bothering me so much this year...it just is. It makes me miserable. I'm not a miserable person by nature...so it really gets to me.
I found out yesterday that Alberta hasn't had a winter like this since 1951. Also, it rose 20 degrees yesterday from sun-up to sun-down but it was still below zero...
We do have a choice - why do we stay??
