We are a justice sandwich

My birthday present arrived really early - J ordered it to be sure it would come in time and it just came by courier. He and the courier were too smart - he put it in a doublebag and packing taped it shut so I can't peek. I have no idea what it is (which is cool) and no clues to go on...and I have to wait a month and a half to open it.
May I just say this:

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

man...I hope it's cool.

Can any birthday present live up to a month and a half of expectation building? I think not. It's never going to live up to your dreams, so start casting about for nightmares (Three pounds of pickled herring? Gee, thanks.)

"Oh, look, Arthur, it's a completely rehabilitated villain. She's comfortable with herself. Comfort, commitment, marriage, what do these things have in common? The letter 'C' except for marriage, and if people get all British whenever they get knocked on the head, what do British people get? I know... comatose. Another 'C'."

For the record, Pete provided my introduction to The Tick. Second year at BBC he sent me the first issue in the mail. I laughed so damned hard.
When's the b-day?

I stumbled onto the tick in university...my roommate Malcolm was obsessed with the Tick and it was contagious.
My b-day isn't until the day before Halloween so I have a lot of sitting and staring at a package to look forward to...

You could always go and watch old episodes of the Tick. And maybe start a letter writing campaign to bring back the show. Preferably the animated version, but I'd settile for the live action one. Tried to be a bit too adult sometimes, but I liked it. Why are all my favouritist shows cancelled after a dozen episodes or so?

And just for you: oofinkdxd
